Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, ACPHS, whose main campus is located in Albany, New York, with a satellite campus in Vermont, has variety of degree programs designed to prepare students for a career in pharmacy and other health related areas.
The College offers a Doctor of Pharmacy program and four-year bachelor's degrees in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health and Human Sciences, and Biomedical Technology. Master’s degrees are also offered in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cytotechnology and Molecular Cytology, Health Outcomes Research, and Biotechnology-Cytotechnology.
ACPHS is distinguished from other colleges and universities by providing opportunities for students to work along side faculty on groundbreaking research in areas such as infectious diseases, cancer and battling obesity along with access to resources such as the Pharmaceutical Research Institute Graduates of the College are prepared for a range of careers such as: biochemist, clinical laboratory scientist, consumer safety officer, drug information specialist, environmental toxicologist, health policy analyst, hospital administrator, pharmacist, physician, physician assistant and research scientist.
