Program Information:

The Rehabilitation Assistant program has been designed to prepare and formally train individuals to work in partnership with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and/or recreational therapists.

Students of the Rehabilitation Assistant program will be taught the basic knowledge, skills, values, and behaviours that will enable them to work in a variety of health care and community settings like long-term care facilities, sports medicine clinics, health care and fitness spas and recreational therapy facilities.

All prospective students must pass an entrance exam, complete a pre-entrance immunization report and be subject to a criminal record check.
