Program Information:

The need for Pharmacy technicians is growing, as there is increasing demand on the pharmacy industry in general. CDI College’s Pharmacy Technician diploma program teaches students the fundamental skills and knowledge required for a successful career as a pharamicists technician.

Students receive hands-on experience in compounding and dispensing, mathematics, drug/body interaction, and drug delivery systems among others. Additionally, students practice their customer service skills and learn about different pharmaceutical environments such as retail, hospital, and small business. By developing real-world skills in conflict management and communications, graduates will have a greater understanding of the dynamic duties and skill sets needed for a career as a Pharmacy Technician.

CDI Pharmacy Technician graduates in Alberta will be eligible to apply to write the certification examination offered by the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) and British Columbia graduates will be eligible to write the certification exam offered by the College of Pharmacists of BC.
